a crossroads of sectors & cultures engaged for a just & sustainable planet

CSR Geneva Breakfast on December 5th

CSR Geneva breakfast is back!

What knowledge and skills can the NGO world bring to the private sector? How can NGOs support companies in becoming active leaders in their own industries or sector, whilst incorporating their own environmental work?  How can NGOs promote ambitious thinking for transformational change within the private sector?

As NGOs and business work ever closer together, how can we ensure that both sectors gain from the engagement and can both take a leadership role in their own work, benefited by partnering together?

At CSR Geneva’s next breakfast, Mandy Thomas from WWF’s One Planet Leaders programme (see www.panda.org/business/training) and Caroline Redrup from IUCN’s Leaders for Nature initiative will share their experiences on their work in environmental leadership with the private sector and would love to hear your thoughts on your own experience. It’s an informal occassion to catch up, share, learn, and eat good food with like-minded contacts – we hope to see you there!

Breakfast is on Wednesday 5th December, from 8 to 9.30am and there’s a minimum charge of chf10 per person (which buys you the continental breakfast of tea, coffee, all different sorts of interesting bread with jam, honey and chocolate spread, orange juice – it’s delicious and a bargain!). We’ll be in Le Pain Quotidien, 21 Boulevard Helvétique in Rive (1205 Genève), and we’ll be in a room on the right-hand side of the café as you look from the street – come in through its own glass door there.

Any queries please contact Mandy on 022 364 9231 or Caroline on 022 999 0118, otherwise we hope to see you there!

Caroline Redrup
